Overview

Vitamin C + Zinc + Vitamin D3

Immunity X addresses three of the most commonly deficient micronutrients in immune and anti-aging medicine: ascorbic acid for antioxidant and collagen synthesis, zinc for innate and adaptive immune function, and vitamin D3 for immune modulation, genomic expression, and calcium homeostasis.

Mechanism of Action

Ascorbic acid neutralizes reactive oxygen species, regenerates vitamin E, and provides the reducing equivalents required for collagen prolyl hydroxylase activity. Zinc sulfate is required as a cofactor for over 300 enzymatic reactions including those governing T-cell differentiation, NK cell activity, and antioxidant superoxide dismutase function. Vitamin D3 binds the vitamin D receptor to regulate genomic expression of immune-modulating genes, including those governing innate antimicrobial peptide production.

Benefits

Immune Defense

Zinc and vitamin D3 support innate and adaptive immune cell function through complementary receptor-mediated and enzymatic pathways

Antioxidant Protection

Ascorbic acid neutralizes free radicals and regenerates other antioxidants, reducing cumulative oxidative damage associated with accelerated aging.

Collagen Synthesis

Vitamin C is an essential cofactor for collagen cross-linking enzymes, supporting skin integrity, vascular health, and connective tissue repair.

Genomic Regulation

Vitamin D3 regulates the expression of genes governing immune response, cellular differentiation, and inflammatory control.

Immunity-X is a prescription therapy used for immune support.

Who should use Immunity-X?

Patients seeking support for immune support may qualify after evaluation by a licensed provider.

Does Immunity X require a prescription?

Yes. This is a compounded prescription formula. Lab evaluation of vitamin D and zinc levels is recommended before starting.

Ascorbic acid at high doses may cause GI discomfort, diarrhea, or kidney stone formation in susceptible patients. Zinc may cause nausea, especially on an empty stomach. Vitamin D3 toxicity from excessive supplementation can cause hypercalcemia.

Who should not use Immunity X?

Patients with hemochromatosis should use zinc and vitamin C cautiously given iron absorption enhancement. Patients with hypercalcemia or sarcoidosis should avoid vitamin D3 supplementation without specialist evaluation.

Are there any drug interactions?

Ascorbic acid may enhance iron absorption and affect certain chemotherapy agents. Zinc reduces absorption of fluoroquinolones and tetracyclines. Vitamin D3 may interact with thiazide diuretics to increase hypercalcemia risk.

Is Immunity X safe if I have a pre-existing medical condition?

Patients with kidney disease require provider guidance on ascorbic acid dosing due to oxalate excretion risk. Patients with granulomatous diseases such as sarcoidosis require specialist evaluation before vitamin D3 supplementation.
