Overview

Sermorelin + Melatonin + Glycine

Methionine + Acetylcysteine + Theanine

Tryptophan + Serine

Sleep Formula addresses sleep quality through multiple pharmacological pathways: GH secretagogue activity during slow-wave sleep, circadian melatonin signaling, GABA-potentiating and glutamate-modulating amino acids for sleep architecture, and antioxidant and methylation support for overnight cellular repair.

Mechanism of Action

Sermorelin is a synthetic GHRH(1-29) fragment that stimulates pituitary GH release, supporting slow-wave sleep-associated growth hormone pulses. Melatonin activates MT1 and MT2 receptors to reinforce circadian rhythm and reduce sleep onset latency. Glycine acts as an inhibitory neurotransmitter at glycine receptors and lowers core body temperature to facilitate sleep. Theanine promotes alpha-wave activity and modulates glutamate receptors. Tryptophan provides substrate for serotonin and melatonin biosynthesis. Serine and methionine support methylation and neurotransmitter pathways. N-acetylcysteine is a glutathione precursor supporting overnight oxidative repair.

Taken orally before bedtime

Benefits

Sleep Initiation

Melatonin and theanine reduce sleep onset latency by reinforcing circadian signals and promoting alpha-wave relaxation.

Sleep Architecture

Glycine lowers core body temperature and acts on inhibitory receptors to support deeper, more restorative slow-wave sleep.

GH Secretion

Sermorelin stimulates pituitary GH release during slow-wave sleep, supporting overnight tissue repair and metabolic recovery.

Cellular Repair

N-acetylcysteine replenishes glutathione to support the antioxidant defense and detoxification processes that occur during overnight sleep.

FAQs

What is Sleep Formula?

Sleep Formula is a prescription therapy used for sleep and relaxation support.

Who should use Sleep Formula?

Patients seeking support for sleep and relaxation support may qualify after evaluation by a licensed provider.

Does Sleep Formula require a prescription?

Yes. This formula contains sermorelin, a prescription peptide, requiring a valid prescription from a licensed provider.

What are the possible side effects?

Sermorelin may cause flushing, or headache. Melatonin may cause morning grogginess at higher doses. Tryptophan may cause sedation and should not be combined with serotonergic medications without provider guidance.

Who should not use Sleep Formula?

Not for patients with active malignancy due to GH secretagogue activity. Not for patients on serotonergic medications without provider evaluation due to tryptophan. Not for use during pregnancy or with known hypersensitivity to any component.

Are there any drug interactions?

Tryptophan combined with SSRIs, SNRIs, or MAOIs increases serotonin syndrome risk and requires provider evaluation. Melatonin may enhance the sedative effects of benzodiazepines and other CNS depressants. NAC may reduce nitroglycerin tolerance.

Is Sleep Formula safe if I have a pre-existing medical condition?

Patients with a history of cancer require specialist evaluation before using any GH secretagogue. Patients with depression or on antidepressants require provider review due to tryptophan and theanine serotonergic activity.
