Sildenafil Oxytocin Troche is a prescription therapy used for male sexual wellness support.
Patients seeking support for male sexual wellness support may qualify after evaluation by a licensed provider.
Yes. Both sildenafil and oxytocin require a valid prescription from a licensed provider.
Sildenafil may cause headache, flushing, nasal congestion, and dyspepsia. Oxytocin is generally well tolerated sublingually; transient nausea, mild headache, or lightheadedness may occur at initiation. Hypotension is possible, particularly if combined with antihypertensives or alpha-blockers.
Absolutely contraindicated in patients taking nitrates in any form. Not for patients with severe cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled hypotension, or recent stroke or myocardial infarction within 90 days. Oxytocin requires caution in patients with hyponatremia given its antidiuretic activity at higher doses.
Nitrates are an absolute contraindication with sildenafil. CYP3A4 inhibitors including ritonavir and ketoconazole significantly increase sildenafil exposure. Alpha-blockers and antihypertensives increase hypotension risk. Oxytocin's antidiuretic effect may compound hyponatremia risk with thiazide diuretics or other agents affecting sodium balance.
Patients with cardiovascular disease require fitness-for-activity evaluation before use. Patients with hyponatremia, SIADH, or water retention disorders require provider evaluation before oxytocin. Not recommended in patients with hereditary degenerative retinal disorders.
