Overview

Finasteride + Fluocinolone + Minoxidil

Tretinoin + Vitamin E

Raven Hair combines systemic-class DHT inhibition locally, corticosteroid anti-inflammatory activity, vasodilatory anagen prolongation, penetration enhancement, and antioxidant protection in one formula. Tretinoin amplifies minoxidil and finasteride bioavailability at the follicular level.

Mechanism of Action

Finasteride inhibits type II 5-alpha reductase to reduce intrafollicular DHT. Fluocinolone acetonide suppresses perifollicular immune activation and cytokine-driven miniaturization. Minoxidil opens potassium channels in perifollicular smooth muscle, prolongs anagen, and stimulates dermal papilla cells. Tretinoin increases stratum corneum permeability. Vitamin E provides antioxidant protection against oxidative stress in the perifollicular environment.

Topical Solution

Applied directly to the scalp daily as directed.

Benefits

DHT Control

Finasteride provides type II 5-alpha reductase inhibition locally, reducing intrafollicular DHT without the systemic burden of oral dosing.

Inflammation

Fluocinolone acetonide suppresses perifollicular immune activity that accelerates follicular miniaturization in androgenetic and inflammatory alopecias.

Hair Growth

Minoxidil prolongs anagen and stimulates dermal papilla cell activity, supporting follicular recovery and visible density improvement.

Scalp Protection

Vitamin E provides direct antioxidant defense against free radical damage that contributes to premature follicular regression.

What Patients Are Experiencing

“Scalp inflammation was the piece I had been missing. Raven Hair addressed that alongside the DHT blockade and results at four months exceeded my expectations.”

— Patrick L. *

“The all-in-one formula replaced three separate products. Application is clean and results by month three were better than the individual actives alone.”

— Jordan M.*

“My provider selected this because of the tretinoin penetration benefit on top of the anti-inflammatory component. The science is solid and so are the results.”

— Christopher A.*

*Individual experiences may vary. Not all patients will have the same outcomes.

Does Raven Hair require a prescription?

Yes. This formula contains finasteride, minoxidil, fluocinolone acetonide, and tretinoin, all requiring a valid prescription.

What are the possible side effects?

Fluocinolone acetonide may cause scalp skin thinning and HPA axis suppression with prolonged use over large areas. Tretinoin may cause scalp dryness and photosensitivity. Minoxidil may cause transient shedding in weeks 4 to 8.

Who should not use Raven Hair?

Not for use in pregnant women due to finasteride and tretinoin. Not for patients with active scalp infections, adrenal insufficiency, or known hypersensitivity to any component.

Patients with diabetes require blood glucose monitoring given potential corticosteroid absorption. Patients with Cushing's syndrome or cardiovascular conditions require provider evaluation before use.
