A compounded intranasal spray combining PT-141 (bremelanotide), a melanocortin receptor agonist that activates brain-level sexual desire, with oxytocin, a neuropeptide that enhances arousal, genital sensitivity, and emotional bonding, delivered through the nasal mucosa for rapid CNS access.
Men and women experiencing reduced sexual desire, arousal, or emotional connection during sexual activity, particularly those whose libido has been impacted by hormonal changes, medications, stress, or aging. Provider evaluation is recommended before starting.
Yes. PT-141 is a prescription-only compounded medication. A valid prescription from a licensed provider is required.
PT-141: nausea and facial flushing are the most common, typically mild and transient. Transient blood pressure elevation has been reported. Oxytocin: mild nasal irritation, transient blood pressure changes, and uterine cramping in women are possible. Both effects are generally mild at therapeutic doses.
Not recommended for patients with uncontrolled hypertension or significant cardiovascular disease due to PT-141's transient blood pressure effect. Not for use during pregnancy. Patients with known hypersensitivity to either component should not use this product.
PT-141 transiently elevates blood pressure and requires caution with antihypertensive medications. Oxytocin may potentiate the uterotonic effects of other oxytocin-active agents. Concurrent use of other melanocortin agonists should be disclosed to your provider.
Patients with cardiovascular conditions or hypertension should have blood pressure controlled before starting PT-141. Women with pregnancy-sensitive conditions should avoid oxytocin-containing products without specialist evaluation. Provider assessment of your full medical history is recommended before prescribing.
