Overview

Ferrous + Methylcobalamin + Zinc

Ascorbic Acid + Biotin + Niacinamide

Iron deficiency, B12 insufficiency, and zinc depletion are among the most common and underdiagnosed contributors to hair thinning and shedding. Hair Force One addresses all three simultaneously alongside ascorbic acid to enhance iron absorption, biotin to support keratin production, and niacinamide to support follicular cellular energy and barrier function.

Mechanism of Action

Ferrous fumarate replenishes iron stores required for ribonucleotide reductase activity, the rate-limiting enzyme in DNA synthesis in rapidly dividing follicular matrix cells. Methylcobalamin provides bioavailable B12 for methylation reactions that support red blood cell formation and follicular cell proliferation. Zinc supports the enzymatic activity required for protein synthesis and immune regulation in follicular tissue. Ascorbic acid converts ferric to ferrous iron in the GI tract to maximize ferrous fumarate absorption. Biotin supports keratin structural protein synthesis. Niacinamide supports NAD-dependent cellular energy production in metabolically active follicular tissue.

Oral Capsule

Taken orally once daily.

Benefits

Hair

Addresses the three most common nutritional drivers of hair loss and shedding simultaneously: iron deficiency, B12 insufficiency, and zinc depletion.

Energy

Methylcobalamin and ferrous fumarate support red blood cell formation and oxygen delivery, reducing the fatigue and pallor associated with iron and B12 deficiency.

Healing

Ascorbic acid, zinc, and biotin collectively support the tissue repair and collagen synthesis processes that underpin healthy scalp and follicular architecture.

Immune Function

Zinc and ascorbic acid support immune cell activity and antioxidant defense, reducing the oxidative burden that contributes to follicular inflammation and premature catagen.

FAQs

What is Hair Force One?

Hair Force One is a prescription therapy used for hair support.

Who should use Hair Force One?

Patients seeking support for hair support may qualify after evaluation by a licensed provider.

Does Hair Force One require a prescription?

Yes. Because this is a compounded formulation prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy, a prescription is required regardless of the OTC status of the individual ingredients.

What are the possible side effects?

Ferrous fumarate commonly causes GI side effects including nausea, constipation, dark stools, and stomach discomfort. Taking with food reduces these. Zinc at higher doses may cause nausea. Biotin at high doses can interfere with certain immunoassay-based lab tests including thyroid and troponin panels.

Who Should Not Use Hair Force One?

Not for patients with hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, or other iron overload conditions. Patients with known hypersensitivity to any component should not use this formula. Ferrous fumarate is generally safe in pregnancy but requires provider approval.

Are there any drug interactions?

Iron significantly reduces the absorption of fluoroquinolone and tetracycline antibiotics, levothyroxine, and bisphosphonates. Take these medications at least two hours apart. Zinc may similarly reduce antibiotic absorption. Disclose all medications and supplements to your provider.

Is Hair Force One safe if I have a pre-existing medical condition?

Patients with GI conditions including Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, or known malabsorption should discuss iron supplementation with their provider. Patients with renal impairment require monitoring of zinc and B12 levels during use.
