Elimination Protocol

The 4 Pillars of Elimination Diets

The IgG Food MAP includes a structured elimination protocol โ€” Prepare, Eliminate, Restore, Reintroduce โ€” designed to last 2โ€“3 months.

๐Ÿ“‹

Prepare

Set dates, plan meals, ensure adequate calories, track symptoms, choose organic when possible, stay hydrated.

๐Ÿšซ

Eliminate

Remove HIGH and VERY HIGH reactive foods. Some practitioners recommend eliminating entire reactive food groups.

๐ŸŒฑ

Restore

Support gut health with digestive enzymes, prebiotics, probiotics, L-glutamine, zinc carnosine, and targeted botanicals.

๐Ÿ”„

Reintroduce

Add back one food at a time, monitor symptoms with a food journal. If no reactions, the food can return to your diet.

FAQs

What is the difference between food allergy and food sensitivity?

Food allergies involve IgE antibodies and cause immediate, sometimes severe reactions (hives, swelling, anaphylaxis). Food sensitivities involve IgG antibodies and cause delayed reactions โ€” often 24โ€“72 hours later โ€” such as bloating, fatigue, brain fog, and skin issues. This test measures IgG reactivity only.

How does the at-home collection work?

We ship a collection kit to your door. You perform a simple finger-prick to collect a small blood sample (takes about 5 minutes), then mail it back in the prepaid envelope. No lab visit needed.

How accurate is the test?

The 96 IgG Food Panel is performed by Alletess Medical Laboratory, a CLIA-certified lab (CLIA #22D0080258) using validated ELISA methodology. Results are highly reproducible. Scores between 0.185โ€“0.215 are considered equivocal and should be interpreted with clinical context.

What do I do with my results?

Your results classify each food from Class 0 (no sensitivity) to Class 3 (high sensitivity). We recommend eliminating Class 2 and 3 foods for 4โ€“6 weeks, then reintroducing them one at a time to identify triggers. Our Complete plan includes a personalized elimination guide.

How long until I get results?

Results are typically available within 5โ€“7 business days after your sample is received at the lab. You'll receive a notification when your detailed report is ready.

Does this test for Candida and yeast?

Yes โ€” the panel includes Baker's Yeast and Brewer's Yeast. If you suspect Candida-related issues, these markers can provide useful insight alongside your other results.

Do I need a doctor's order?

No. Our clinic handles the ordering process. A licensed provider reviews your intake and authorizes the test. No separate doctor visit or prescription is needed.
